An Array Algebra for Database Applications

Orman, Levent V

ABSTRACT: Array Algebra provides a complete and algebraic programming environment for database application systems where large quantities of highly structured data are involved. Some procedure is suppressed by utilizing an algebra based on the theory of generalized arrays to express the functional relationships among the data items, and more specifically between the inputs and the outputs of an application system.
